Week #35: May 21st - 24th

Dear Families, WOWIE, it sure feels like summer doesn't it!?  The sensational sunshine this week was welcomed and certainly energized our minds, bodies, and spirits to remain actively engaged in all our meaningful learning opportunities :) Check it all out below! DECADES DAY: Thank you to all the students in our class who showed school spirit and dressed up for our Decades Day theme.  Many brought back the 70's, 80's, and 90's trends, very funky and creative :-)  I loved it! Week #34: May 13th - 17th

Dear Families, Wishing you a safe and wonderful Victoria long weekend with your family and friends!  I've heard some students buzzing about  going away camping and to their cottage .  Here's to sunshine and blue skies!  Have an absolute blast, but please continue to be safe :)     What will I be up to?  Well, I'll be spending quality time the cottage in Baysvill e, and also hopefully in my perennial and vegetable garden to get them ready for the summer months.   Have I shared that I also love gardening?  Yes indeedy, I do!  My family used to own a garden center at our motel which  blossomed my passion for plants. I've asked the class and was delighted to see that the majority of my students have vegetable gardens on their property.  This is amazing!!  So perhaps you will be getting your hands and knees dirty too as part of your weekend plans ;)  If you do, enjoy being outdoors and one with nature! Dear Families, I would like to express my  heart-felt thank you  to all the Moms of my students who continuously provide their child with the  love and nurturing  to help them thrive in their Grade 4 school year and beyond! Your ongoing support for your child and my teachings is cherished.   Thank you for energetically embracing me  this year, it has meant the world to me!
